The concrete Hauteville Chair was designed by Julie Legros and Henri Lavallard Boget for Lyon Béton. The designers were inspired by iconic mid-century design but wanted to twist this for modern interior styles. The Hauteville Chair has a concrete shell with rebar steel legs. Although the materials evoke a raw and unpolished aesthetic, the Hauteville Chair is extremely ergonomic, moulding perfectly to one’s posture, and an ultra-fine sanding process gives the seat an extremely silky, smooth finish.
